Manchester City have signed Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna and they are close to sign Fernando as well. Sagna signed a three-year contract with the City since the French player’s contract expired with Arsenal after the season. Sagna has been playing in England since 2007, has 284 appearances and suffered two major injuries.
The defensive midfielder Fernando has been playing in Porto for six years. He was born in Brazil and claimed for Portugese citizenship in 2014, but his claim was denied by FIFA because he was the member of the Brazilian U-20 team at the time. If he signs he could join a crowded midfield in Manchester.
