The second round of the group phase in World Cup 2014 begins on Tuesday. We have three matches today and we are giving you a little guide who to put into your Fantasy Football team.
Let’s start with the goalkeeper who is Thibaut Courtois of Belgium this time. The tall keeper of Chelsea was loaned out to Atletico Madrid and had a fantastic season claiming the La Liga title and playing in the Champions League final. Against Algeria he has a really good chance for a clean sheet.
Our defender pick comes from Brazil: Thiago Silva. The team captain had a good match in the opener against Croatia and is looking forward to another big performance. Against Mexico it won’t come easy but the PSG man is a real professional.
The first midfielder pick is Sofiane Feghouli. The Algerian international has 19 caps to his name and 5 goals. He became a regular starter at Valencia and scored some spectacular goals. He will be Algeria’s key player that’s for sure.
We really can’t leave out Eden Hazard of Belgium. The Chelsea winger had a brilliant season with the Premier League club breaking some records and claiming the best Young player of the PL award. And he is just 23-years-old.
We have two forwards for you. First of them is Aleksandr Kerzhakov. The Russian attacker has 81 caps to his name and 25 goals with some really important and match-saving goals. He could be a player against South Korea.
Aaand of course the Brazil hero, Neymar. He scored twice against Croatia in the World Cup opener and is expected to perform well against Mexico too. You probably won’t be wrong if you make him team captain.
