Colombia gave no chance to Japan as they have beaten the Asian team 4-1 to finish on top in Group C of World Cup 2014. Colombia is facing Uruguay in the Round of 16.
Colombia had taken the lead with Juan Cuadrado’s penalty but Japan was able to equalize still in the first half. Honda Keisuke’s cross found Shinji Okazaki whose perfectly executed header found the net. Nice move!
In the second half Colombia dominated the match. Jackson Martinez regained the lead of the South American team in the 55th minute.
Then the Porto attacker scored another goal in the 82nd minute and Colombia increased , lead to a comfortable 3-1.
Finally, James Rodriguez, who had already given two assists in the match, ensured Colombia’s victory in the last minute of the game.
