Players to buy (and their cheaper options) for La Liga, Round 15:
Carlos Kameni (Malaga, goalkeeper). The experienced goalie gave a frenetic performance against Deportivo La Coruna in the latest round and collected his 6th clean sheet of the season by saving a penalty too (35 round fantasy points). He is in a great form, and Malaga host Celta Vigo so Kameni has a chance to have another clean sheet. Price: 8.5 million. Cheaper option: Fabricio (Deportivo La Coruna, 8 million). Fabricio started the season as a second-choice goalkeeper but he became a regular starter since round 8. He earned 4 clean sheets in 7 games and notice: Depor host Elche in the weekend.
Jordi Alba (Barcelona, defender). The Spanish international left-back barely scores under 20 fantasy points. He provided an assist against Espanyol, contributed 93 successful passes out of 99 attempts, but won only 2 duels and made only 1 interception for 29 fantasy points. Barcelona travel to Getafe and Luis Enrique counts on Alba. You should too. Price: 12 million. Cheaper option: Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid, 8.5 million). Another left-back, but from the capital city this time. Carvajal against Celta Vigo: 36/31 accurate passes, 12/9 duels won, 2/2 successful dribbles, 28 fantasy points. Consider him!
Tiago (Atlético Madrid, midfielder). The defensive midfielder is in a great form since his injury absence. He collected 100 fantasy points in the last three matches. He made 13 interceptions during those games in addition to his goal and assist. Atlético host Villarreal which is hard to beat but Diego Simeone’s side is ready for everything. Price: 12 million. Cheaper option: Ander Iturraspe (Athletic Bilbao, 6 million). A great passer who wins a lot of duels. Iturraspe against Córdoba: 81/67 successful passes, 18/12 duels won, 17 fantasy points.
Neymar (Barcelona, forward). If you are able to buy another Barcelona player, you may choose Neymar. The Brazilian ace scored a brilliant goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League but he didn’t score in La Liga since two games. It’s time for him against Getafe in the weekend, trust me. Price: 13 million. Cheaper option: Alvaro Negredo (Valencia, 6.5 million). The Manchester City loanee became a regular first XI player and he scored his first goal of the season against Granada. You can wait for more from him, that’s for sure.
